The witch and her cat fly happily over the forests, rivers and mountains on their broom until a gust of wind blows the witch's belongings away.

They are brought back by a dog, a bird and a frog and in gratitude each animal asks for a ride on the witch's broom. One by one they climb onto the broom until it is so heavy that it breaks in two - right above a swamp, into the arms of a greedy dragon...
